The Principal and staff are great with students and parents alike. Most of the teachers are concerned with the students and their needs, academically and personally. The assistance provided to special needs children through the WestLake Program is exceptional, with a strong teaching staff and caring assistants. I feel they do not reflect the positive environment I have expirenced for the last five years in the school. I currently have three children at Peifer and am very pleased with the staff including our principal. I feel the teachers are very accessible for problems as well as guidance for homework help. Our principal is very visible and approachable. Perhaps the previous reviews were a result of unresolved issues with the school.
